We are ISO 17100:2015 certified, so we only employ native speakers who specialise in the legal sector. We also work with a network of subject specialists. They make sure our translations are as legally binding as the originals.

• Do you need a legal translation that you can trust, without having to check and correct it?

• Do your documents contain scans and signatures that cannot be edited? Or are the documents themselves read-only?

Our graphic designers can extract any text contained in signed and scanned documents.

They then send the text to our translators and edit the document to include the translation. The document is then delivered back to you, containing the text in the target language.

• Concerned about confidentiality?

We take security very seriously. We are ISO 27001:2013, Cyber Essentials Certified and GDPR compliant. All our staff, both internal and freelancers, sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

• Need a translation agency that can guarantee quality and has indemnity insurance?

We cover our services with a 10 million GBP indemnity insurance policy. In our 25 years of operation, we are very happy to say that we have never made a claim.

• How do we charge for a translation?

We quote per project, on a per word basis. This excludes the cost of repetitions.

We use specialised translation management tools to analyse files and find any repetitions. This means you will only be charged once for the translation of repeated text.

We create translation memories for your project and a glossary of key terms. We then check any new files against these memories and only charge for new content.

This allows us to offer affordable legal translation services without compromising on quality.

Non-official legal translations for information purposes or internal use

The best solution is to use advanced neural machine translation (NMT). Superior to sites like Google Translate, this technology is designed to learn languages much like the human brain does.   

At Intertranslations, we have been translating legal documents for 25 years. Using our resources, we created our own translation memories for the legal industry. We then trained our neural machines, creating an affordable option with an impressive output.

We can deliver editable documents within 2 hours. Documents that cannot be edited, such as signed and scanned PDFs, can be delivered in just a few days.
